Graduation Requirements

Southwestern Heights High School requires 25 credits to graduate.  Of those 25 credits, 16 are required classes. They are as follows:
4 units of English
3 units of Mathematics
3 units of Science
1 unit of Health and Physical Education (Freshmen year)
1 unit of American Government/International Relations (Senior year)
1 unit of American History (Junior year)
1 unit of World Studies (Sophomore year)
1 unit of Fine Arts (Band, Choir, or Art)
¼ each of Ag Explorations, Communications, Life Skills, and Orientation (total of 1 unit)
9 electives

Beginning with the class of 2023:  Southwestern Heights High School requires 24 credits to graduate.  Of those credits, 15 are required:
4 units of English
3 units of Math
3 units of Science (Physical Science, Biology, 3rd Science)
1/2 unit of Health (Freshman Year)
1/2 unit of Physical Education or Strength & Conditioning
1 unit of American Government/International Relations (Senior Year)
1 unit of American History (Junior Year)
