2024-2025 State FFA Results

Five Southwestern Heights FFA members competed at the 101st Kansas State FFA Career Development Events in Manhattan on May 5–6. Members Brooke Basham, Hannah Fieser, Cole Langhofer, Ella Leak, and Drezden Zimmerman competed in multiple agricultural events against students from across Kansas. Several members earned individual honors. In Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Brooke Basham placed 22nd out of 144 contestants, earning a Silver Division ranking, while Hannah Fieser earned Bronze Division honors. The Dairy Cattle team also placed 29th out of 54 teams. Ella Leak earned Bronze Division honors in Milk Quality and Products and Silver Division honors in Food Science. Members also competed in Veterinary Science and Farm & Agribusiness Management events.
